Albert Fung

Albert Fung is a Philadelphia-based artist, art-instructor, and yoga instructor. In his art, he works in oil paint, intaglio, lithography, drawing, digital print, and mixed media. He was born and raised in San Francisco, California.  He earned his BFA in Printmaking from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York.  In 1996 he earned his MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. In Printmaking, he first worked at Bob Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop in 1993. At the same time, he made limited lithographic editions at Trestle Editions, printing for artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Ellsworth Kelly. From 1994 to 2005, he made digital prints for artists. In 2007, he taught Lithography at Columbia University. And in 2014, he joined Philadelphia-based BYO Print. Today, he is painting, printing, and drawing. And, he teaches painting and drawing at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia. In addition to art, he teaches yoga and raises his son.
